What’s Blooming in April at Westwind Farm
Lots of stuff! The apples are fully leafed out and the blossoms just starting to peek. It is exciting to walk by them daily and watch the unfolding.
Pears are going in full force, despite the heavy winds and rains of the past week. The two big cherry trees next to the tractor house are looking absolutely gorgeous — we hope they will yield luscious cherries like last year.
The shade garden looks like a fairyland of blue and white, while muscari and yucca form an interesting combination of blue and yellow in our “hell strip” to the west of the lawn.
